DRIVERS travelling north on the A500 cannot fail to miss the biggest outdoor digital display screen of any car dealership in the UK with the switching on of the latest marketing initiative at Knights BMW.
Touchscreen Europe (TSE) has put up an LED digital screen that is almost 20 feet high by more than 13 wide at the BMW and MINI showroom on Bede Road.
It is the largest outdoor digital display at a UK dealership and will be used to promote all the latest campaigns, offers and new model launches.
TSE's director, Andrew Turner, says: "This high-impact billboard is impossible to miss, enabling Knights to communicate directly with thousands of potential new customers every day. Not only does it look impressive, but its digital capability is world class and makes it possible for the group to change adverts every 10 seconds and schedule campaigns to start any time of the day or week."
Ewen Morrison, property manager for Knights Group, says: "The impact of the screen has been impressive. Our Stoke showroom is in a strategic location off the A500 so the billboard is clearly visible to a high volume of traffic night and day.
"By converting our messages to digital we can upload several adverts to support our tactical campaigns for sales and service and we can change the content whenever we want.
"It's a very powerful, flexible and dynamic mechanism to get the message out quickly.
"The quality of the screen is excellent and Touchscreen Europe worked with us through all stages of planning and design to ensure we created a structure that fits with the aesthetics of our showroom."
