Among all the coverage of Margaret Thatcher's funeral, there is one small TV-related fact: Mrs Brown's Boys creator and star Brendan O'Carroll once served as the former prime minister's butler. It took place in 1984 during an EU leaders' summit at Dublin Castle. "The first thing Mrs Thatcher said to me when she got out of the helicopter was that she wanted an Irish whiskey. She said it was her first time in Ireland and she had always wanted to try one." The Irish comic added: "I can remember being woken up one night by Mrs Thatcher's M15 security team, who told me that the prime minister wanted 'hot milk and pepper' in her apartment. I brought it down to her, and years later when RTE offered me a quizshow and asked what I should call it, I said Hot Milk and Pepper after Mrs T." Daily Express P19
