Bath Ales is expanding its customer base into eastern Europe.
The independent brewery has secured an export deal with Russia.
Russia, with its 143 million residents, is now the tenth country to join Bath Ales' export portfolio as the business looks to introduce its beers to new territories.
The new deal is a continuation of a successful 2013 which saw the brewery's shipments to foreign markets double.
Export manager, Moussa Clarke, said the company, which has three venues in the city including the Graze restaurant at Brunel Square, is hoping to double sales again in the next 12 months.
"Demand for quality craft beer overseas is booming and we're confident the quality of our products will see us deliver further success.
"We currently export to countries as far away as Mexico, Brazil and New Zealand as well as closer to home in Europe, and this year we're planning to significantly increase our distribution abroad.
"We've been working hard to build our reputation overseas. This new deal sets the tone for what we can achieve."
He added: "We're an extremely dynamic business and we believe we make beers which have genuine appeal in very many markets so I'm excited to see where we can take it."
The company is also enjoying success closer to home and has been nominated for two national awards recognising quality and innovation in the pub trade.
The Bath Graze has been shortlisted for Best New Site at the Publican Morning Advertiser Awards and Bath Ales is a finalist in the Best Managed Pub Company.
Managing director, Robin Couling, said the nominations were the result of an exciting year.
"To be a finalist in two different categories is fantastic. We put a lot of effort into choosing the right locations and the right type of venues and understand our customers – we don't believe that one size fits all so we tailor our venues to fit." Reported by This is 17 hours ago.
