Europe's only surf, skate and music festival entered its third day in Newquay yesterday as the main arena at Watergate Bay opened with performances from Everything Everything and The Vaccines.
Action from the festival, which began in earnest on Wednesday, had been confined to Fistral Beach in the Cornish town, as the surf, BMX and skate competitions got under way.
Early action on the water has seen European longboard champion and local surfer Ben Skinner in dominant form ahead of Sunday's final.
Music at the venue included The 1975 on Wednesday and folk singer Benjamin Francis Leftwich the following night.
Thousands of campers arrived to an overcast Watergate Bay arena campsite yesterday morning ahead of a day of music including indie-band The Vaccines.
The line-up for the festival for tonight and tomorrow includes Basement Jaxx, Miles Kane, Tom Odell and Ben Howard. Reported by This is 10 hours ago.
