• 'I'm still getting to know my players,' says United manager
• 'I don't have a starting XI for the Swansea game yet'
David Moyes is yet to settle on his starting XI for his Premier League debut as Manchester United manager, the trip to Swansea City on 17 August.
With Nemaja Vidic, Javier Hernández, Nani and Antonio Valencia yet to play for him due to a combination of injury and rest after international duty, Moyes will use the three games before Swansea – the tour matches on Monday with Kitchee FC, and 6 August at AIK plus the Community Shield meeting with Wigan Athletic on 9 August – to finalise his side.
"I'm still getting to know my players. I have several players back home who I've not met yet because of international duties," Moyes said. "I don't have a starting XI for the Swansea game formulated in my head yet. We still have three games in Europe before the season starts. We'll look at it then."
