A NOTTS woman was among of environmental activists who climbed The Shard in London.
Police say Alison Garrigan and five others accessed the building – which at 310 metres is the tallest in western Europe – in the early hours of yesterday via the roof of London Bridge Station.
Greenpeace said the group were protesting against Shell's Arctic drilling.
Garrigan, 27, who hails from Notts but lives in Manchester, updated people via Twitter.
At 10.30am she tweeted: "Cold and windy 100m up but smiles and snacks all round."
By 2.30pm she said: "To all the people inside the Shard - thanks for all the waves."
At 3pm she said: "Really near the top!" Reported by This is 2 hours ago.
